Children’s Christmas Pageant

On Sunday, Dec 5, all children that would like to be involved with the Christmas Cantata vignettes in Once Upon a Night should gather at 8:30 am for different parts and costume fittings. A dress rehearsal will be held Saturday, Dec 18, at 10 am.

Safe Passage Sharing Tree

It seemed no sooner tags were hung on the tree that they completely disappeared the first Sunday! You are amazing! By the second Sunday no tags remained, and many gifts were already returned. The type of gifts requested are meant to support many over the course of time as clients move through the Safe Passage program. Special thank you to Thrivent for a $250 grant for this project which supported ten $25 gift cards for ready/emergency use by families being sheltered. Please have all gifts returned by Sunday, Dec 5, for a special blessing when then be picked up soon afterward by Safe Passage.

 Cookie Decorating Event!

Calling all young-ish adults: You are invited to come to the church on Sunday, December 5, from 2-4 pm and enjoy a time of games, fellowship and holiday cookie decorating. Bring a dozen-ish cookies to decorate. Frosting, sprinkles, icing, and toppings will be provided. Also provided: games, rockin’ holiday tunes and plenty of Christmas spirit. This will be a fun opportunity to get to know each other and make treats for the congregation to enjoy at the WOW Wednesday hymn sing on Dec 8, at 6 pm. Please contact Karen Robison or Pastor Jon for more information!

 Family Promise Hosting Week

We are planning to physically host guests the week of Dec 5-12 for a final time this year. If you can stay and help setup for our guest family following worship that would be super! Maren Snyders has MealTrain open for volunteering opportunities, to provide meals, and daily grocery donations. Right now, we are expecting one family, a mom and three children (8, 5, 2)! Please click here for volunteer openings: Thank you!
