National Day of Prayer – May 6, at Noon

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. On the National Day of Prayer, Americans from many backgrounds turn to God in prayer for the United States. This year’s event will be held at McEuen Park near the Veteran’s Memorial in Coeur d’Alene, ID, and you are invited! Let’s join together as we pray for our nation and its leaders in observance of the National Day of Prayer. Join Pastor Jon there (he’s part of the worship team)!
