Instead of using mail to distribute the monthly schedule I am going to be dropping them in your mail box however communication is key here…if you don’t check your box on a regular basis please let me know so that I can email or mail them to you. Family Promise of North Idaho

Annual Congregational Meeting

January 29th following worship (about 11:30 a.m.) is our congregation’s Annual Business Meeting. The current Church Council members will provide sandwiches and chips to go with the usual fellowship coffee and cookies when worship is over. When everyone has enjoyed this lite luncheon, we will begin the meeting. This way no one will have to rush off to lunch, and we can concentrate on our congregation’s business. Annual Reports are in church mail boxes (January 22nd) so you can pick up your copy and be well prepared for the meeting. On the agenda, we will need to ratify the new revised constituion, elect five new council members, elect 4 members to the 2012 Nominating Committee, and adopt a Ministry Plan (budget) for this year. If you have other business that needs to be addressed, please contact our President, Brad Pfundheller, or myself to give us a heads up. Visitors are welcome for this meeting, although only confirmed congregational members may vote. Hope you all will plan to stay a little longer Sunday, January 29th, for this important meeting! Healing Prayer Service January 8th following fellowship.

Sunday, January 8th, following the fellowship hour, a service of Anointing and Prayer for Healing will be offered in the Sanctuary. If you have any physical, mental, or spiritual needs for which you would like anointing with oil, laying on of hands, and special prayers, you will have the opportunity for the Lord’s healing at this service.

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call the elders of the church, and let them pay over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to on another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” James 5:13-16
