June Gifts: Randy Pooley installed his handcrafted signage while Jolene plucked weeds! Kudos to Lee Ely who has worked diligently on putting drip lines back together and attacking weeds. Rick Straub has been seen hanging out in the Man Cave, so whatever he’s doing thanks! Cheers to Gordon Schoonmaker who provided a sharp, new blade for the mower and installed it! Thanks to all who served or donated toward the Ecumenical Food Kitchen!

Our Baby Bottle Boomerang with Open Arms PCC was very successful! Thank you to all who took bottles and filled them with love. Open Arms will provide a total giving statement soon!

The church will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, July 3 & 4 for the Independence Day holiday.

Wishing you and yours a safe and fun celebration!

Chorale Coeur d’Alene just made a lovely donation to Peace Lutheran in the amount of $325. They send their appreciation for the use of our church for their Tue rehearsals. The Chorale has renewed their contract with us for the coming season, and will hold a retreat day Aug 26. They will perform another wondrous concert for us on Saturday, Oct 14, at 3 p.m. so mark that on your calendar now!

Randy Pooley just crafted a great, changeable sign below our main signage on Meyer Rd. Volunteer(s) are needed to post notices of events and change letters on occasion. Please let the office know if you can help!

Peace Lutheran is creating a new and ongoing Scholarship Fund beginning with our recent current five high school graduates. If you would like to make a donation to this fund, please memo Scholarship Fund on your check to PLC. The first funds will be distributed by Aug 1, 2017. Thank you for your generosity in helping our students continue with their higher education! Church Council

This Reformation, we’re planning a huge celebration the last Sunday in October, and if that sounds too far away it’s not! We would like to do Martin proud by having A German Fest style event with grilled brats, traditional sides, music, and beer! Like to make a donation toward this epic party celebrating the 500th anniversary? Just drop your spare change (or paper) in the Mile of Pennies!

We are in need of 13-gal trashcan liners (the Kirkland pack from Costco works well with our containers), powdered creamer, saran wrap, paper towels & napkins. Other donation items such as 9V & AA batteries, small paper plates, tissues, etc., are always very appreciated. You may bring them in during the week or Sunday. Tax receipts are always available in the office. Thank you very much!

The Church Staff meets together every Tue from 10-11 a.m. to pray, plan, and share goals. Please let us know on Monday if you have something for our agenda! We are always closed for the lunch hour from 12-1 p.m.
