Jan Gifts: On a blizzard of a day, thanks to those who stuck around to undecorate holiday decorations! To P&M guys that snow blow for endless rounds and use the new “Whiz” for deicer. To Kelly Wang who helps many to & from their cars and keeps the narthex floor wiped up so no one slips. Ron, the man we hire to snowplow, gave us two free! Thanks to Margaret Nagel for her gift of music and to continue to create Fellowship schedules in 2017. Thanks also to Marge Freligh who will continue to schedule all the Sunday Ministry Servants this year, and kudos to CAR drivers who bring folks to worship each Sunday! Hugs to our valet drivers each Sunday!!

We give praise for a healthy baby boy recently born to Luke & Ronie (Newman) Reola. Welcome to little Jacen Michael, 8lbs 3oz, and 21” long! Great grandparents, Bob & Charlotte Newman, are just delighted!

Peace is currently in need of napkins and coffee – Yuban has become a favorite thanks to the 16+ containers that Bob Small donated to us last year! If you would like to donate any items (small paper plates, tissues, paper towels, etc.), you may bring them in during the week or Sunday. Tax receipts are always available in the office for your much appreciated gifts-in-kind. Thank you very much!

The Church Staff meets together every Tue from 10-11 a.m. to pray, plan, and share goals. Please let us know on Monday if you have something for our agenda! We are closed for the lunch hour from 12-1 p.m.

P&M Team continues to work on storage bldg. improvements, and can’t wait to get going. Karle Nimke has volunteered to build the second tier! If you would like to donate toward the “Needs List” see the posting on the board or talk to one of the guys for an update of what’s needed – thanks!

The Dorcas Quilting Group meets here the first & third Monday, from 9 am – 3 pm to work on mission quilts. Please contact Cinda Fueller, 773-3025, about how you can assist anytime with this ministry.

Let Cinda Fueller, our Financial Secretary, know if you would like to serve as a Sunday offering counter this year. Thanks to Barb Nimke who just volunteered! Counters serve about every six weeks, and the process is simple to learn. Cinda will tutor until you feel comfortable along with your team mentor. Try it out!

January was a better month for food bank contributions. While Ardella Quaale recovers, her daughter Mona and Tom Affeldt delivered our donations to the Post Falls food bank totaling 111 lbs! Let’s always remember those that may be struggling with food needs. Idea: Put your donation by the door or in your car Sat night so you’ll remember to bring it to church on Sunday!
