Christian Education for All

Sunday School for all ages is at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday. Pastor Wandrey continues to lead an Adult Study based on the book Joshua, Judges & Ruth. Pastor Gail gathers with Jr & Sr High school youth and on Wed evening with the Confirmation students. Lisa Seher teaches our elementary aged children weaving Bible stories and crafts together.

Serendipity Bible Study: Wednesday at 9:45 a.m.

We continue with the book of Proverbs, and already it is bringing some deep insights and discussion. All are invited to attend. We share our life concerns and blessings for the first 15 minutes, and then dig into the Word for the next hour. Coffee and often goodies accompany this study. Please join us for this special time with our Savior, Jesus.  – Pastor Gail

Champ Camp at Lutherhaven – Youth Servant Adventure for 2017!

Champ Camp pairs disabled youth with compassionate able kids so everyone can enjoy the benefits of Lutherhaven to their fullest potential. Our high school youth selected this as their Servanthood project this year and we’re booked from June 18-23, for eight youth and three adult counselors. Now, it’s up to our youth to make a solid commitment to attend! Parents, please encourage your kids to make this commitment and to help keep those calendars clear so nothing interferes. The $257 per person fee will come from Youth Group savings funds so don’t hold back – make your plan to be at Champ Camp now! Please see Pastor Gail for more details.

“The Shack” Coming to the Theater – Let’s Go!

This movie is based on the bestselling book by William P. Young. After his daughter is murdered during a family camping trip, a man succumbs to deep depression and a crisis of faith. A letter leads him out into the Oregon wilderness where he meets three strangers that will help heal his wounded soul and provide a vision of his future. The movie will be released the first weekend in March and we’ll be putting together a group to go to Riverstone after worship on March 5. This is certain to be a deeply moving experience whether you have read the book or not. A copy of the book is available in our church library and more information will be posted in the bulletin, as we get closer to the date.
