Nov Gifts: Thank you to Lee Ely for the corner mounting of fellowship hall speakers! More thanks to the Nimkes who continued to share their orchard bounty with us all – the apples and pears were delicious! Kudos to Pam Kirking for her artistic creativity making the raffle basket! Love & hugs to Pfundhellers for delicious coffee for the staff! To Barb Hunley for lovely altar decorating for Thanksgiving worship!

In case you missed it, there will be no Holiday Bazaar this year. Thanks to all who came to decorate in preparation for Advent and Christmas on Sat, Nov 26, and have made our church beautiful this season.

The Church Office will be closed at noon on Dec 23, and Dec 30. The church will be closed for Christmas, Dec 26, and New Year’s, Jan 2, 2017. Blessed holidays to all from your church staff!

Church staff is taking some vacation time at year-end. Pastor Wandrey will be away Dec 26 – Jan 2. Lynn Affeldt will be out of the office Dec 22-27.  Pastor Gail will be available for any emergencies.

Because our volunteer counters only do their work and make deposits on Sundays, Dec 25 will be the last day to make contributions to Peace for the 2016 year. Any offerings received after Sun, Dec 25, via mail or otherwise will be credited in 2017. Thank for your understanding!

Back 2 Camp! for Lutherhaven’s weekend retreat for 3-6 Graders, on Feb 3-5, 2017. Lisa Seher is planning to take her Sunday School kids. The cost is $72 each. Contact Lisa now at 773-2689 so she can register soon!

The Dorcas Quilting Group meets here the first & third Monday, from 9 am – 3 pm to work on mission quilts. We will all enjoy Quilt Blessing Sunday! On Monday, Dec 5, all the quilts will be bagged and delivered to various local ministries – come share the joy! Please contact Cinda Fueller, 773-3025, about how you can assist anytime with this ministry.

Please let Cinda Fueller, our Financial Secretary, know if you would like to serve as a Sunday offering counter this coming year. Counters serve about every six weeks, and the process is simple to learn!

Ardella Quaale couldn’t believe your contributions she took to the Post Falls food bank totaling 228 lbs. in Nov! We’re getting pretty good at this losing a pound a week effort!! Our Thanksgiving Day offering of $335 was equally divided between our local food banks.

The church is closed for the lunch hour from 12-1 pm, Monday through Friday. Thanks for your consideration!

Peace is currently in need of powdered creamer. If you would like to donate any items (coffee, tissues, napkins, paper towels, etc.), you may bring them in during the week or Sunday. Tax receipts are always available in the office for your much appreciated gifts-in-kind. Thank you very much!
