                      Hands 4 Uganda

Responding to God’s calling for an overseas mission trip, Brian, Maren, Andrew, Maddie, and Luke Snyders will be leaving March 20, for two weeks to serve in Uganda, Africa.  Joining a southern Idaho organization, Hands 4 Uganda, their mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of the children and youth of Uganda, primarily through a faith-based education, and to assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults, and by providing compassion, love, economic, and spiritual support. Additionally, Brian will lead a medical team to provide care for the village of Mbiko and surrounding areas. Knowing God’s word in Ephesians that warns, 12″ For weare not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places,” and His command to, 18 “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” The Snyders are asking for prayer support from Peace Lutheran during their trip.  On Sunday, March 16, Peace Lutheran will commission the Snyders family for this service.
