Lutheranism 101

Home > Pastor's Blog > Lutheranism 101

When was the last time you reviewed Luther’s Catechism?  Or better still, when was the last time you reviewed the basic tenets and truths of your Christian faith?  You have the opportunity to do both (because Luther’s Catechism emphasizes and upholds our Christian faith) beginning Thursday, April 19th, at 1:00 p.m. at the church.  I will be leading the class which will cover the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.  Since the Lord’s Prayer was covered during the Lenten Season, we will not repeat that at this time.  So here’s your chance to ask questions, study, and learn with other believers, or seekers, and mature in your faith.  The class will meet each Thursday at 1:00 p.m.  Join us !

The Sunday morning adult class which meets at 8:45 will begin studying the Gospel of John on April 22nd.  John portrays the life of Jesus in a much different way than the other Gospel writers.  This Bible Study is guaranteed to get and hold your attention with its fascination and mystery.  This is also an excellent way to prepare for our Sunday morning worship each week.  See you in class!       Pastor
