Bible Studies Beginning in September

The Labor Day Weekend officially marks the end of summer vacation! Bible Studies and other activities will resume. One of our commitments to the Lord and our congregation is for all of us to participate in Christian Education and study of the Scriptures; this is healthy for our spiritual nurture. There are several opportunities ahead.

Sunday School classes will start on September 18th, beginning at 8:45a.m. each Sunday. If you have children, be sure they’re here so teachers can start on time. Then come have your coffee during the Adult Class, which will start with “Bible Numerics” for those who could not attend the summer sessions, and all other interested people. This fascinating study proves the text of the Bible!

Serendipity Bible Study meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 in Post Falls beginning September 14th. It will start with an overview of the layout of the books of the Bible, and will be especially helpful for those who have never done a Bible study before. Then we’ll study the book of Romans with a little bit of Jeremiah and Old Testament interjected. Gail Gutterud will facilitate. Location will be determined by the number signed up to participate.

How the Bible Was Made will meet at the church on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. starting September 8th. Pastor Wandrey will present a history and how the various manuscripts were put together into the book we know today as the Bible.

“Seeking Him” will meet on Thursdays at the church at 6:30 p.m. beginning September 8th. This course will build relationships, with the Lord and others in the class, as together we face our human condition of sin and God’s gracious gift of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
